Sorry to hear, mites are not fun, glad your getting her treated. Did the vet give her topical ivermectine or a syringe for you to give it to her orally.

You'll need to do frequent cage cleanings as the eggs hatch in the bedding and on your hammie. So it takes awhile to get rid of them.

I've had a hamster with mites and I was unsuccessful in getting rid of them, he got worse but his own immune system was compromised so he couldn't fight them off with medication. I was traumatized by that. I'm sure you will have a healthier hammy that can fight this off with no problem other than inconvenience and try not to worry if you are as your doing the best you can
