Yes that is actually something I was thinking about too, I am new to keeping dwarfs and Ive been treating my girl as a hybrid, being careful due to the increased risk of diabetes. I think it would be ok to mix them together, Misty ate only Harry Hamster (With added meal worms and sunflower seeds.) her whole life and she didn't have a problem with it... Though, she was a robo dwarf.
I guess mixing them together would be a good solution
Bambi is really picky if he doesn't like the food in his bowl he pees on it so I'll change it, even though he gets fresh food everyday.
