Yesterday, some of my friends came over to my house to bake cookies. I instructed them to stay well away from Titania, telling them how hamsters are nocturnal, that she's settling in, no, she's not dead, no, you can't force her to run on the wheel, no, I'm not going to plop her into the sand bath, etc., etc.
I'm paranoid.
My friends thought it would be funny if they pretended to feed her a little bit of the cookie batter to her while I was going to the bathroom. Needless to say, I totally, utterly, and completely freaked
. After hyperventilating and going on a complete rage explaining how they didn't understand how fast she could move, how she could have eaten the cookie batter (with RAW egg), how even if they tried to stop her they could've gotten bitten, I finally calmed down and locked her cage in the bathroom.
It think it's pretty self-explanatory to say that the rest of the morning was pretty awkward.
