Default Re: Top 5 buys?

I have so many favourite hamster products that my current Syrian Pumpkin as well as my past 4 Syrians have really enjoyed therefore I found it difficult trying to narrow them down to my top 5 so here are my top 10:
  1. Bendy Bridges (Small and Medium) – These are one of my most favourite hamster item they are so handy to have as they are so versatile – I use them as bridges, tunnels, ladders, to cover open nests and to cover house entrances. Come in two forms – either natural or coloured.
Wicker Bridge for Small Pets at zooplus
    Coloured (20cm) - https://www.therange.co.uk/pets/smal...den-comfy-cave

  2. Extendable Tunnel – is a plastic tunnel which extends from 18cm to 75cm, which can be bent into any shape. This tunnel can be also buried beneath substrate or even attached inside the cage to the bars.

  3. Rosewood Hyacinth and Seagrass tunnel (Small) – Both of these tunnels are great; the small size is a perfect size for Syrians. They have two small holes on either side which my hamsters enjoy climbing in and out of. Both Sherbet and Pumpkin also enjoy chewing on these tunnels. I have also recently bought the balls made out of the same materials.

  4. Willow Tunnel – Willow is one of the only woods that all my Syrians used to enjoying chewing upon, so the willow tunnel is ideal to be used as a tunnel as well as something for your hamster to chew upon. This was probably Sherbet favourite.

  5. Grass Nesting Ball – Currently a big favourite of my Pumpkin – she loves her grass nest in which she sits and has a groom as well as a little snooze inside in the evenings. Also she enjoys chewing upon her grass nest.
    Medium - https://www.therange.co.uk/pets/smal...s-nesting-ball

  6. Rosewood Chew Tubes (Hamster and Rat Size) – As toilet roll tubes tend to be a little to small for a Syrian so these tubes make the perfect alternative and they can be bought fairly cheaply from The Range. A few of my Syrians have enjoyed chewing the tube and tearing the paper inside and outer layers of.

  7. Whimzees/Antos Cerea Dog Chews – A massive favourite chew of my hamsters – so I would highly recommend these. Link for Whimzee Alligator (also available is hedgehog and toothbrushes) http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pe...mall-crocodile or Antos Frog (also available in hedgehog and toothbrush) http://www.petscorner.co.uk/dogs/tre...arge-frog-chew

  8. Rosewood Dandelion Treat Sticks – I given these to some of my past Syrians and I have recently bought these treat stick for Pumpkin and these have been a big hit with her they are made from natural and healthy ingredients which hamsters really like. Rosewood also does some other flavours of these treat sticks but I have only tried the dandelion ones.

  9. Stuffed Carrot Woodroll – whenever I’m in p@h I always pick up one of these for my hamster and they get these as an occasional treat, these are a big favourite and these would keep my girls amused for ages – as well as removing the carrot stuffing, they also chew upon the wooden log. After my hamsters have finished with these logs, I stuff the middle with rolled up cardboard which then can be used a step up to a platform or as a chew.

  10. Fitch – I tried so many different substrates and this is far my favourite and I would highly recommend. Fitch is a paper based bedding which is virtually dust free (only the smallest amount of dust), fairly inexpensive although does come in larger bales – the 10kg used to last 4 to 6 months in a 80 x 50cm cage. This substrate cannot be bought in pet stores however can be purchased direct from Fitch or from amazon although it is cheaper ordering it direct - https://www.fitchrecycling.co.uk/fit...r/bedding.html
