I wouldn't go any lower than 15.5 Celsius(roughly 60 Fahrenheit)and even that is quite cold for hamsters.Ideally you want around 22.2 Celsius/72 Fahrenheit,maybe a few degrees lower but definitely not anywhere near 50 Fahrenheit/10 Celsius as mentioned.
