I left a hinged bit on top so I can open the roof. Plus the hay house is familiar (I chopped one side off to make it into a shelf). Yes RH he did seem fed up about going back to his old house after exploring the new one - I just couldn't work out what to do with it. In hindsight it maybe didn't matter if he chewed at the hemp mat - it's supposed to be ok to chew - but I think he just wanted some familiar substrate.
