I thought you might find this thread useful as it list the safe baby food to feed hamsters - Baby food suitable for hamsters

You can also make you own type of baby food yourself - as I tried my past hamster Sherbet food with baby food and she wouldn't eat it so instead I boiled up some veg and mashed it and then passed it through a sieve. This was a big hit with Sherbet.
