Welcome and yeah Tofu (great name by the way) will need more time to settle in. A new home is a lot for a hamster to take in, all the new sounds and smells can be a bit overwhelming for them and then if you start trying to handle them that can be too much and make them scared.

In a week or two you can start slowly taming your hamster, for now just talking to him calmly and putting some tissue in his cage that smells like you will be plenty to get him started liking you.
