I've been planning on feeding him a bit of vegetable every day or every other day to let him try new things, and I'm giving him a peanut in a shell tonight.
Since he is quite the burrower, but he has wood shavings for bedding (Aspen Wood Shavings!) I'm going to spend some money on carefresh and add a layer of that for him.
He has a small cage, or at least I think it is. It's almost 360 sq. inches, maybe like 20 sq. inches less, but I (try to) make up for it by giving him lots of time in his playpen, (where he stares up at me, waiting for food.)
