I think it great that both Savic and Ferplast are now making these large hamster cages. I agree this cage is fairly expensive (especially compared to my DIY cage which is larger than this cage which cost a lot less) although I did see the cage on cageworld without all the extra accessories for £75.99 (

The Ferplast shelves are good quality and fairly strong.
I did try looking to try to find out what the bar spacing was but it doesn't mention it anywhere but from looking at the picture I would say the bar spacing is 1cm.
I also think this cage is really good but I think it would benefit from a door on the side to allow better interaction with the hamster.
