When we had to have Forrest PTS, our vet popped him into a small box and gave him a whiff of gas to send him to sleep before the little injection to send him on his way, it was very very thoughtful and we where not charged any extra it was just their normal procedure for small furries.
it is a horrid decision to make, but when their quality of life is so suspect it is a kindness.
