I had this cage as a temporary cage when my WW hamsters started to fight. try turning the lid around because I had a gap and once turning the lid around the gap closed. Also the lid becomes quieter the more it is used. Hope this helpsXx

Yes I just realised earlier that the lid goes on in a particular way- still not fitting right though LOL I think it's just me being dense here!
