What I've figured out just searching and pondering is that hamsters and mice are extremely similar when it comes to setting up cages,as in they really don't like big open spaces and prefer to have as much cover as possible.Think something that almost looks a bit crowded,but still gives small open space between everything for a hamster to walk through!
