Hello to the newest addition to my family- this is Penelope!
I stood in front of the hamsters in the shop and said "does anyone want to come home with me?" This little one climbed all over the other hamsters and came right to the front of the tank and looked right at me! (That's when I took this picture) so I feel like she chose me.
The man in the pet shop said she was between 9 and 10 weeks old, but she was still with her litter mates so I don't see how could be that old- what do you think?
She's been living with me since Friday and so far I've just left her to it. Tomorrow I'm going to see if she's ready to take a treat from me.
She's so brave though- she had an explore of her cage and ran on her wheel from the first night she was here- she really loves her wheel!
I can't wait to get to know her!
