Serendipity I think I have read that thread and that is why I was so sure about this being a dangerous product. I just couldn't understand why so many people would get offended that I gave them a heads up that the cotton stuff was dangerous.

Thank you all for your input. For a moment I got confused if I had gotten this wrong. But I guess that these small things are the reason I really don't do well in danish hamster groups. My opinion on hamster care differs too much from theirs and with scenarios like this, where nobody will believe that this stuff is dangerous, I get very frustrated. I mean, one thing is not agreeing on what mix to feed them, or if pellet or muesli is better. But I will keep worrying about this little fluff getting stuck in the cotton for days
