I'd be worried because of the shape if a hamster climbed on the bars that they could potentially have a toe injury It might just be me,but that is always something to keep in mind just for general safety.The size could work well for some hamsters but not all though.They also have other 100 x 50 rabbit cages which have flat roofs instead of the potentially dangerous ones which are also shorter,but they don't come in white.

Rabbit 160cm LARGE Indoor Rabbit & Guinea Pig Cage - Little Pet Warehouse This one is a bit less wide but much longer,though it isn't anywhere near as good a value and is very expensive in comparison.

Rabbit 140cm LARGE Indoor Rabbit & Guinea Pig Cage - Little Pet Warehouse This cage however is close to a square meter and much cheaper than the 160 cm cage.
