Sorry for so many replies, but I also have another question. I want a female mouse, because everyone says that males smell, and I prefer female animals in general. Do I have to have a friend for my female? One of the main reasons I don't want a pal for it is because if one dies, I don't want the other to die of depression, and I don't feel a trio would be best for me right now (finances, caging, and just being a first time owner). Although, I really do want what is best for the animal.
