Re: long nails?
I'm afraid that once the hamsters nails are long you need a vet to trim them
So the vet would have 2 people to trim nails, if that doesn't work, they will sedate them
What I did was buy a Wodent Wheel with a nail trimming track which seems to work well.
Long nails aren't a problem unless the are curling under or causing discomfort to your hamster
