Thanks for all your replies and we'll wishes. Turns out that SHE is a HE! So we have shorted the name to Pip instead haha. He is settling in well thank you ☺ I was a bit worried at first as he didn't seem to be drinking but I discovered that the bottle that came with his cage had two little balls in it which was stopping water coming through. I feel lucky that I discovered this or the poor little thing would be so thirsty. I am going to write to the company as I'd hate to think of this happening to another little hammie and the owner not noticing.

Apart from all that we are just getting used to each other but he is getting more confident by the day.
