Yes I think it's fine for all hamsters, but only a very small amount. It's just a food supplement. Also high calorie to help with weight gain. I put a "pinch" out in a little dish by themselves for Charlie, about twice a week when he was having them. He liked them and licked them all up! Good for humans too!
I looked up all the highest calorie foods when trying to help Charlie regain his weight. Pecan nuts are very high calorie - mainly fats, but healthy fats.
