I've no idea how much I've spent at the vets over the years or even just with one ham although I guess Flynt's regular teeth clipping did add up a bit, at the time I'm usually too concerned about my hams to worry about how much it costs me!
I do think it's important though to find a vet you can really trust so your money is well spent & set aside a vet fund as however well we care for them you never know what might happen or when they might need vet care.
