Hamster Central - View Single Post - Vet costs, most you've spent on one hamster?

We've been lucky so far. Just with one Syrian, Charlie, and two small vet bills totalling £37. Difficult situation with Koala - sounds like going to another vet might be an idea (I just typed mite instead of might dur). I'm not sure what Ivomec is, but isn't there an injection they can give that gets rid of mites well and truly? I know there is for head lice! Or an oral medication at least, as a last resort when people have problems getting rid of them.
