Default Bitter Sweet Updates

Hey everyone!

Took a long break, I was down south over the summer. Was a bit hectic, personal reasons, but something horrible happened. I placed the care into my mother, who stayed at home, and I made a very complex pet care guide for both Cloud, my winter white, and Hamilton, my syrian. Sadly, Cloud escaped somehow, and has been gone ever since. I cried and mourned, but at least he is definitely running around happily on the rainbow bridge :') (here is a link to the rainbow bridge: https://rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). I believe all my deceased animals have gone there, and I am so excited to see them So I was left with Hamilton. Two days after I got home, I cleaned his cage, and he jumped out. He was gone for 3 days, and even though we looked every nook and cranny, he was nowhere to be found. I prepared for this grief because of Cloud, so I decided, "Fine. Hamsters are a therapy pet for me, and I need them." We visited Petco, and saw the most BEAUTIFUL djungarian hamsters. According to the store owner, they were there for over a month, unloved because of their red eyes and "scary" appearance to children. We knew we couldn't leave them there, so we got them. I named them Salt and Pepper, but there were many suggestions. Coffee and Social (a very funny inside joke), Mocha and Latte, Saphire and Ruby, Ben and Cassandra, etc, but I knew Salt and Pepper fit best So we brought them home, and they're settling in quickly. Finally, midnight came around. I woke up to some shuffling. I came down from my bed, and I searched. I opened my storage closet, and surprise, behind a bin was two big piles of poop. I looked around, and Hamilton was there. He was just there, very scared, hungry and thirsty. I imediately got him, and put him into the old travel cage I have. I gave him water and lots of food, but he was a slow recovery. Now, he is still more slow than before this incident, but he eats all of his veggies, eggs, pasta and cheese, so I'm very content he will be fine. Salt and Pepper are still deciding the dominance, but all is finally well. I am very content with my pet family now
