The main reason I posted this was as an update to show what it looked like, as it's a cage that has been in the offing for some time. It seems like a very long time! It's over a year since I wrote asking them to make a 100cm cage with a big front opening door.
The extra height has it's pros and cons for Syrians - it means it's easier to fit a 12" wheel in without losing substrate depth and floorspace (the wheel can be on a level or fixed to the bars and clear the substrate, as with the barney). I don't think it's too tall with one shelf and enough substrate. Whereas the Mamble and Borneo need full levels really.
Up until now, the Borneo was the only 100cm cage with a large front opening door and it's only for sale in Germany - although they do ship to the Uk. Savic usually have good build quality as well.
