Lol! Great photo! I have a similar one of Charlie - also with a strange expression! But not as well exposed a photo lol! They do seem to find it comfy sitting like that - Charlie fell asleep on top of his cushion last time
That photo of Jed will be very useful next time a new owner with a male hamster thinks their hammy might have an abscess at the rear end
I also like the way they rest their feet on their cushions. Charlie had all four paws propped on his cushions once - he looked like a contortionist.
