With hamsters the chances of the sand getting wet are incredibly high,and of course the unnatural most likely artificially manufactured dyes are questionable at best.I think there are tons of concerns about it,and even if a minority of people maybe didn't have issues with it I still think it isn't worth the risk.Consider just for a moment how many people have had no issues with cotton nesting material,and then think about how dangerous it is yet if anyone used that we'd all agree they need to remove it yet somehow a dangerous reptile sand is different.
