Default Re: New home for new robos

Hello RCalabraro. I love the round wooden pieces on the wooden shelf. Different and very nice.

Personally, although levels can be problemmatic for dwarfie pairs they seem to be happy enough. The issue about tunnels is that they can come face to face and start to squabble. But if they are getting along, just keep an eye on them. Even hammy pairs in a flat space with no levels or tunnels can fall out. So, pay attention to any chasing, squeaking, or bullying. If it does start, separate them. After my pair did well as long as they lived, I was kind of relieved they never hurt each other. And the stress of wondering if they would have a problem made me only have one dwarfie in a setup at a time from then on.

As for the reptile sand, we had one member use the colored sand with no harm. So, I don't think it is harmful to hamsters in the same way as it is with some reptiles.
