Default Re: New home for new robos

I would remove the sand immediately as it is a strange color.Reptile sand is extremely expensive compared to children's play sand but children's play sand is also always safe as long as you sterilize it and sift it well, where reptile sand often contains all kinds of things that aren't safe at all for reptiles or hamsters.Reptile sand is actually known as a dangerous thing among the reptile community,or at least the up to date informed side of the reptile community.

Other than that,if the two robos are sharing two cages connected with the tube that is a very bad idea that can and most likely will lead to a fight or territorial behavior and should be corrected immediately as well.

The setup would be great for just one robo with play sand instead of reptile sand, but with two hamsters shelves and levels and such just aren't safe and neither are modular cages that attach to others through tubes.
