I think that they're called Antos chews in the UK, although Viovet sell both. I'm not sure if there's a difference..

They're a dog chew but perfectly safe for hamsters as they're vegetable based and made with natural colouring
My hamster Gus is right next to my bed on a chest of drawers as I didn't have anywhere else to put him. He's as active as ever and he seems perfectly happy so I think your hamster should be fine. Maybe just try to make as little noise as possible while your fluff ball settles in
