I had a couple chubby hamsters, one way I got them to tone up a bit was by taking away the seeds & meal worms. Put them on a different diet with less seeds. Right now they are on vitakraft vita nature & vita smart combined together.

Them for the RCD hammie I got him a Silent Runner wheel instead of his 6.5 in silent spinner & he runs on that pretty much all the time that he's awake.

I was worried that the were losing too much weight so I gave them their seeds & meal worms back & now it seems to be working fine. I also give them small bits of pellets too.
