Don't disturb the nest/mum. Like hamsters, if they are disturbed often or stressed they can kill/eat the babies. Wait until the babies leave the nest before any touching/handling.
If you had the male in with her when she gave birth then she may be pregnant again as once the last baby is born the adults will usually mate again.
