Michonne is my beautiful 4th hamster, she is such an amazing and kind little girl, everyone falls in love with her. <3
Michonne's story is, however, very sad...she was found by another person, in a pet shop, housed with other hamsters, they didn't let her eat and attacked her, she was starving to death, even though my rescue project doesn't rescue hamsters from pet shops, we couldn't just close our eyes to her situation.
The person threatened them and so they ended up giving little Michonne for free, but that person was unemployed and couldn't keep little Michonne, so, she went and researched for someone who could help the poor little hammy, she found our rescue (which is the only one on my country, it was easy to find) and asked for our help, some hours later, she brought little Michonne to my home and I was amazed how kind Michonne was, she trusted everyone and would climb on our hands without any hesitation, I instantly fell in love with her, but at that moment, I didn't had a big enough cage for her to live, as my other cages were already on use and I would never let a hamster live on our rescue cages/bins, as they are not big enough, only temporary cages until they find good homes.
Of course I couldn't let Michonne go until I solved her problem, she had to get some weight in in the first place! She was only 19gr when she arrived.
She was up for adoption for about 3 months, until one of my babies died of old age and I had the opportunity to keep little Michonne, I didn't think twice! I was totally in love with this girl with such an amazing personality! So now, she is living on a Skyline Falco 120, with everything she should have, a happy little girl.
