[Nancy's Hamsters]

The first thing that sprung in my thoughts was were these two girls born with you or bought at a store and a bit older then the normal age of a pet store hamster? Unless you knew exact date of birth for both girls and had undeniable proof that they had never had any litter before I would suspect they probably weren't 1st time moms. As for their long lives I think that has a huge amount to do with your care of them and feeding and housing in a proper way which allowed them to live so long.

Glad they both lived so long for you and had no complications birthing at older ages.
