You shouldn't need to do much cleaning, spot clean daily removing anything that's been peed on & any fresh veg or other fresh food that hasn't been eaten.
As CMB says never do a full cage clean, if they have a good deep layer of substrate & enjoy a good dig around or burrow a fair bit then you will probably find that most of what does need cleaning is at the base of the tank so you could just clean no more than half at a time every two or three weeks, maybe even less, always keep back some of the nest if you clean that area & the same with food hoards, if the food is getting a bit old you can remove it & replace it with some fresh ham mix.
