It's good to know the basics at least so you can tell if any food you buy is suitable or not, ideally protein should be around 19%, not many mixes are actually that high so they do need a bit of supplementing, fat should be somewhere around 7% not more really & fibre 8% or even higher, no one mix is perfect but that should give you an idea of what to aim for.
