Re: How to clean hamster toys?
I'm sorry to hear about your hamster. I've recently lost my girl too so I've been cleaning her toys ready for a future hamster should I decide to get one.
I've washed everything in hot soapy water (I just used dish soap) and left it to dry. Although I know my girl's illness wasn't infectious I will also use a pet safe disinfectant on everything. Her hammocks, taming gloves and play blanket have gone into the washing machine.
