Well,

You could go for any of the big Greek/Roman gods/goddesses like:

Zeus, Neptune, Posiedon (Possy), Hermes, Apollo, ..etc. (there's too many to name)

or some more characters in greek mythology:

Arion, Achilles, Eros, Faunus, Hercules, Heracles, Homer, Odysseus, Olimpio, Orpheus, Theseus, Titan, Perseus... (there are so many more options for other mythologies or even more from Greek or Roman!)

or you could do something like:

Fluffy, Dumbo, Tuffy, Tippy, Patch, Charcoal, Bubbles, Mr. Fluff Puff, Chester, Dexter, Bagel, Pepper, Jem, Rusty, Nero, Scampi, Cocoa, Dashie, Dashi, Wasabi, Linus, Dusty, Fuzzy, Muff, Theo, Tommy, Whiskers, Wolfie...
