Yes, he does look more of a blue-steel grey than black. Such a gorgeous colour though. Can`t say I`ve ever seen this colour in a pet shop as they are usually normal or creams or tan. It`s nice to see something different.

As for a name, I would wait until you see his character come though. My hybrid was originally called Cubby and I changed it to Chubby! Similar, but suited his body shape! Sooty sounds a bit naff but he is a sooty colour!!! x
