We currently have a sand bath in a cookie jar in one corner and a litter box with the litter balls in what used to be his chosen pee corner. Recently he has ignored his old pee corner and has started using the cookie jar/sand as a toilet instead, so I'm just going to remove the potty and balls altogether. So it's not unheard of for them to change their mind about what they like to do their business in.
