I would inspect it once it arrives msdemi and if your unhappy with it, even if the cage isn`t damaged, Zooplus will accept it back and you can order the Barney instead, although the Alaska may suit you fine anyway.
I agree about that small domed house being removed as it`s rather useless. Using a big cardboard box with no floor under the shelf as a nice cosy nesting area is much better and roomier for a Syrian. x
