I would say he is a Silver Grey but a carrier of probably cream and maybe cinnamon which are influencing the colour cast on the silver. This grey mix gives a hamster that shows the colour he is.
The standards are for the perfect hamster who does not carry any other genes. This doesn't really exist.
I'm pretty sure he won't be a light grey as these are thought to be pretty much extinct nowadays. I have never seen a light grey in the UK.
Light grey is a lethal gene in two copies so litters were small and they all but died out.
