Definitely give it a go then, I wish I was good enough at making wood stuff but I'm totally rubbish 
I do have a couple of the coloured ladders they make & they are really nicely done. I think I might just have to have a chair to match if not an entire dining set 
Serendipity maybe the donut bed is more of a syrian thing? I know how much Charlie likes his!
