Could you make the sand bath a little deeper?
What kind of sand are you using? I use chinchilla sand (not dust) & find that soaks in & clumps up really quickly.
Peeing in the food bowl is normally their way of protecting it from predators or us in other words! She should stop doing that once she's more settled.
