Red eyes are, well, red. XD They look red regardless of lighting, but can be harder to tell if their eye colour is particularly dark. Black/brown-eyed hamsters don't have any sign of red in their eyes. Here's my red-eyed Bubbles, compared to his black-eyed sister, Pippy (RIP).
Edit: Of course I'd get ninja'd as I was finding suitable images. XD To show the variations of redness that can occur even in the same hamster, here's my Fluffy IV. He's a long-haired, red-eyed banded cinnamon, with one bright red and one dark red eye. |
