Default Re: Emley Show - 1st August 2015

I had a lovely day yesterday. I enjoyed the show last year so much I wanted to come back again!
The hams, woof and I left the house by 6am and zoomed up the motorways (as much as the many 50mph limits and a coffee stop allowed) to arrive shortly before 10am. I only took 6 hammies as it is a walk from the car to the tent and I wanted to be able to do it in one trip as I don't think my trolley would be up to fields.

Rogue and I had a fun time watching marching bands, a pack of hounds, a helicopter, show jumping and exploring the stands. He was unbelievably brave all day and trotted round with his tail held high, even for the fun dog show when it tipped it down with rain.

While we were exploring and shopping, my hammies were doing well. These are their results:

1st and 2nd normal Chinese (Kaja and Oats)
1st, 2nd and 3rd patterned Chinese including BEW (Ashey, Lucci and Ning)
1st breeder and grand challenge
Best in Show and Certificate Of Merit (Ashey)

After the drive home, everyone was settled back in their beds, me and woof included. This is Ashey posing with his rosettes today:

It was lovely to see my friends from up North who I don't get to see often
