Sleep is very healing, in body and mind.
Rodipet is a German site, not UK. Maybe there is something like this LINK there? I use this to get stuff that won't ship directly to Ireland from Britain or charges some outrageous shipping fee.
She's getting more confident to I think she just needs some time as you said.

The parcelmotel looks like an amazing idea! But I'm sure my purse won't agree hahahaha
I'll be googling to see if I can find something like that. Otherwise I will have pull a favour from some oversea contacts

A long time ago I had a situation with Transoniq and their Jr WW and they were VERY kind and grateful for me contacting them, and that resulted in them finding the problem in the wheel and solving the problem. Today they state on their site how to check the wheels for this issue and also recommend upgrade to the Sr wheel for Syrians. They were fantastic to work with and though they couldn't bring back my Hamster they were very very caring to me and my loss.

Though you had a much better ending(though your out the cost of that house) Had you not been there to help it may not have ended as nice as it did. If I'm correct your hamster was either going up or down the ramp and slipped off the edge of the ramp at the pole holding the porch roof up and the gap between the pole and the ramp was too tight and her leg got pried in the space and she got trapped by a leg. Had you not been right there to loose her it could have ended in death from stress Trama, or at best a seriously broken and chewed leg.
I'm very sorry to hear about your hamster

I was terrified that she would chew off her leg! I have heard that story too many times. I panicked when the emergency vet told me they don't drive out to rescue a hamster. So I ran across the hall and knocked at my neighbor's door. I have no clue how he could understand what I said because I was mumbling, stuttering and talking insanely fast.

I'm sure she somehow slipped and got stuck - and then made it worse by pulling. I'm thankful that it happened when I was home. Especially when I'm leaving for 2 weeks soon and only having someone to come and feed her once a day. Imagine my pet sitter having to tell me that the hamster had broken its leg or worse. I'm kinda considering if it wouldn't be better to move her to another house until I'm back. Just so that someone can keep an eye on her, should she somehow have an accident with anything.

I would gladly contact the company that manufactured the house but I have no clue about the brand. The website I bought it from doesn't have the company/brand for the product listed. I think it might be from trixie seeing as they have a ton of products in that style. Cant find it on their homepage though. I might just email them
