4-5 week hamsters vs 8-12 week hamsters
So... are there any surprises in getting a younger hamsters than some that are a bit older?
For example, I'm under the impression that 4-5 week old hamsters are easier to tame than one that might be 8-12 weeks. I'm also under the impression that if they are younger then they will know you more and not fear you as much as a slightly older one.
Is there really that much of a difference?
Are there any pros and cons of having a 4-5 week old hammy?
Is it better to get a 8-12 week old to get a better sense of it's personality?
Or do hamsters develop a kinder personality the younger you tame them?
