It is always hard to lose a hammy. But to be honest, losing a first hammy is extra difficult. So much so, that some folks feel they never want another hammy. Bruno will forever hold a very special place in your heart because she was the first one. I started with gerbils in 1962, with Henry. I remember that little guy as clearly as the day I brought him home. It will be the same for you with Bruno. She was a beautiful hammy with a lovely color pattern.
