My hamster has wooden toys, playsticks, sisal toys and hard treats but he still insists on chewing on the plastic stand that his ball attaches onto! Is there a reason? Can I stop him and encourage him to chew wood? I'm just worried plastic won't trim his teeth and we'll have to take a visit to the vet soon
