Earlier this week I made a post asking how to prepare a carrier for transporting a dwarf hamster on a two hour car ride home. I set up her carrier per the advice and knowledge provided (Thanks HC!) and I am happy to say that my rescue ham arrived home safe and sound this afternoon from her foster! I fell in love with Poptart after seeing her picture on an adoption website for a local rescue group. She is a 5 month old female hybrid. I am not sure if she is opal, or sapphire colored though. Poptart is simply the sweetest! She loves to be picked up, held and seems to be enjoying her new home already. She reminds me so much of my first hamster named Socks, the one who started my love for dwarf hamsters.
